Copper drinking cups (tamba) have been made and used in India for over 200 years. According to ancient Indian Ayurveda, drinking water from a copper bottle helps to balance the three energies that circulate through the human body, the Doshas (Vata air element, Kapha water element and Pitta fire element).
It is recommended to drink water from a copper water bottle, preferably after a night of 'steeping', so that the valuable minerals from the metal can enrich the water. This can help balance the pH levels in your body.

Do not wash in the dishwasher.
Clean with natural soap, soft sponge and room temperature water.
To make the copper shine, use lemon wedges or copper polish. Rinse well.
