Water and sun sensitive Mineral stones
What mineral stones can't tolerate water?
Certain mineral stones can be affected by water and therefore not cleaned with water. These have a lower hardness or contain iron and can therefore crack, break, dissolve, discolor or become matte by lying in the water.
You may rinse the stones briefly under water but should not soak in water for a long time.
So do not clean these mineral stones with water but in a different way such as sage, soil,...
See our blog about this "Mineral stone cleaning and charging".
